This policy explains what personal information Knife & Faulk ("we", "us") collects through knifeandfaulk.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our catering inquiries, Essentials online orders, and the newsletter.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, place an Essentials order, apply for a job, complete a survey, or join our newsletter, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone number, company, event or delivery details, delivery address, dietary notes, and any message you send.

Payment information. Essentials payments are processed by Square on Square's secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Square shares with us the order details and a limited payment record (for example, the card brand and last four digits).

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors find and use the site. These tools collect device and browser information, pages viewed, and approximate location, using cookies or similar technologies. Your Essentials cart is saved in your own browser so it is still there when you return.

How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, and deliver catering and Essentials orders.
  • To communicate with you about your event or order, including confirmations and follow-up.
  • To send our newsletter if you subscribe. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • To review job applications.
  • To improve our website, menus, and service, and to measure our advertising.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations and to prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business and only for that purpose: Square (payments and orders), Tally (forms), Square (our customer list and email newsletter), our event management system, Google (analytics and advertising), and our website host. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry, order, and event records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

  • Email. Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
  • Cookies and analytics. The first time you visit, we ask before turning on analytics and advertising cookies, and nothing is set until you choose. You can change your answer anytime with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on and adjust ad personalization in your Google account settings.
  • Access, correction, and deletion. Email us at info@knifeandfaulk.com to request a copy of your information, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising; contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
